Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site celebrates the life and accomplishments of Carl Sandburg, an American lecturer, biographer, folksinger and poet. The site consists of a circ-1838 antebellum house, farm land, lakes, trails, an orchard and a 1900s dairy goat barn. Tours are offered daily at varying times depending on the season.
